FAMILY MEDIATION INTERVENTIONS
The measure is aimed at supporting separated or divorced parents by promoting family mediation actions in pursuit of solutions to disputes in the family context following the separation or divorce process.
EligibilityEligible for access to this measure are former spouses with the marital status of separated, divorced or under judicial separation procedure, meeting the following requirements:
- Having children born or adopted during the marriage that are minors or adults dependent on the parents;
- Having been resident in Lombardy for at least 5 years;
- Not having any convictions with final judgements for crimes against the individual, including the persecutory acts referred to in the Law Decree No. 38 of 23 February 2009, as well as the crimes referred to in Articles 570 and 572 of the Penal Code.

The services are identified via the definition of an Individual Plan by the Counselling Centre providing the mediation service.
How to use the assistance
The public or accredited family Counselling Centres or municipalities, in agreement with the individuals, must submit an application to the appropriate “Health Protection Agency” ATS Brescia, via the Lombardy Region’s online application platform.
Once an assessment has been positively concluded, the intervention may start.
